Your face, it lingers
Like an apparition
It tears into my heart.
Its mouth moves
And speaks words of love
Or words of hate, it doesn't matter
They're all true.
I bid you gone but you
Stay, you linger, you haunt
You suck all that's left of me
Out.
Morning, night
Dreaming or awake
You come to me, smiling and
Never leave me.
In pain is my heart, but your
Fingers dig deeper and your smile
Widens as you fill me up.
My pain is your love
And your love is my pain.
A morbid balance I cannot tip.
At last I give in,
I resign to the pain
And your wings of revenge
Envelope me.
